I have been attending Unity of Tulsa-Midtown since 2000. Attending Easter Sunday with my sister, VC Garrett, I knew I was home when the music made me cry. Since then, if I am in town (and Covid isn’t lurking), I’m here in my church home on Sunday mornings.
Serving on the Board is spiritual for me. I have served on the Board four times and served as president twice. I was on the Board when we hired Rev. Mary Anne Harris and considered it an honor.
After I came to terms with the loss of Rev. Mary Anne, I pulled some Unity tools out of my spiritual toolbox and began to focus on the incredible possibilities for our church. I continue to do so and see our church thriving as we grow spiritually and physically.
