Rev. Mary Anne Harris

Rev. Mary Anne and husband Patrick joined Unity Church of Christianity March 1, 2008. They, along with parrots Panama and Merlin, are excited and happy to be here in Tulsa.

Rev. Mary Anne began her Unity career at 19th & Ocean Avenues, San Francisco, CA. She was looking for a church that felt like home, a place that honored her newly emerging beliefs and the faith tradition of her formative years. It wasn’t long before she became very involved and a few short years later was asked to be the spiritual leader of Unity of Fremont, Jan. 1989. She was ordained through the Field Licensing Program in Feb., 1997. She has served two ministries prior to coming to Tulsa, Unity of Fremont in Fremont, CA. and Tri-Valley Unity Church in Dublin, CA.

She brings to us a wealth of knowledge of the history of the Bible and in the Bible. She leads travel expeditions overseas and is heading a trip to Ireland in November of 2008 (call office for brochure!). She is a writer and has written and produced her own TV show, In the Footsteps of Jesus during her Fremont years.

Her mission is to lead, inspire and teach people to discover and develop their own spiritual nature.
